Azerbaijan, Baku, 16 July/ Trend / In January to June 2008, the Azerbaijani state company Azerkimya increased production of almost all chemical products as compared to January to June 2007.
According to the State Statistic Committee of Azerbaijan, the production of nitrogen increased by 48.8% versus the same period of 2007, propylene - by 48.1%, polyethylene- by 51.8% and isopropyl alcohol- 43.4%. The production of hydrate of sodium increased by 91%, chlorine oxide - by 2.3% and paint-and-lacquer materials - 45.4%. Ethylene was not produced at the enterprise in this period.
