Azerbaijan, Baku, 4 August / corr. Trend E.Ismayilov / The Heydar Aliyev Baku Oil Refinery Plant (BORP), which is a part of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), plans to put into exploitation a new pier to load aviation kerosene and diesel fuel in Guzdek at the end of August and the beginning of September, the ORP said.
"Construction work is under completion and some improvement work remained. Work may be completed fully at the end of August or at the beginning of September," the BORP said.
The new pier allows simultaneous loading of 72 cisterns.
The BORP also put into exploitation a new unit on leaching diesel fuel with the capacity of 1mln tons a year.
Purification of diesel fuel through leaching method will enable to reduce the use of caustic soda repeatedly using alkali waste.
With the objective to increase the production of light products and to improve their quality, black oil resources are used and the newly reconstructed hydro-treatment bloc of catalytic cracking rig G-43 -107 M is functioning at the BORP, enabling to involve waste products of the repeated processes in refinery.
