Azerbaijan, Baku, 9 August / Trend / In January to July, Azerigaz CJSC (engaged in gas distribution in Azerbaijan) received over 3.3bln cu m of gas, while in the same period of 2007 it was over 3.9mln, State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) reported. This year over 5.7bln cu m of gas is expected to be supplied to Azerigaz.
SOCAR is the main gas supplier to Azerbaijan's gas distribution system. In January to July, SOCAR supplied over 2.27bln cu m of gas, while in the same period of 2007 the company supplied 2.29bln cu m. This year, SOCAR intends to supply over 3.5bln cu m of gas to Azerigaz.
In January to July, some 483mln cu m of gas was supplied to gas transporting system from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli system, while in the same period of 2007 it was 896mln cu m. This year 637mln cu m of gas is expected to be supplied from the fields.
In the reported period, Shah Deniz gas and condensate field supplied 558mln cu m of gas to Azerigaz, while in the same period of 2007 it was 708mln. This year the field is expected to supply over 1.5bln cu m of gas.
