The repair details in the pipeline have not been announced.

In August, some 61,891,7t oil was transported via the Baku- Novorossiysk from Sangachal terminal and 62,629,2t oil from Shirvanovka terminal.

SOCAR said that the oil transport via the pipeline was suspended due to planned repair. On 12 August, the oil transport was suspended at 6:00p.m. The oil transport via the pipeline was restored on 13 August at 09:15p.m.

SOCAR is Baku-Novorossiysk oil pipeline operator. Therefore, the oil produced by SOCAR is transported via the pipe, as well as the oil produced by joint ventures and operation companies. Since the fire broke out on the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline oil, produced from the Azari-Chirag-Gunashli field, is transported via the Baku- Novorossiysk pipeline.
