Repairs Completed on Georgian Railway Section to Transport Oil to Black Sea Ports

Azerbaijan, Baku, 19 August / Trend corr. E.Ismayilov / The repairs on the bridge near Tbilisi, which will be temporary used for oil-loading transport from Azerbaijan and Central Asia to Black Sea ports - Poti, Batumi and Kulevi, have been completed.

It is expected that the oil-loading transport in the direction of Georgian Black Sea ports will be resumed today or tomorrow.

Repairs have been completed and the bridge is testing at present. The movement over the bridge will be resumed today or tomorrow. Azerbaijani and Georgian specialists implemented repairs over the bridge.

The oil-loading transport to the Black Sea ports in Georgia near the Georgian Caspian port was suspended due to explosion on 16 August.

Azerbaijani State Railway (ASR) has confirmed that the repairs over the bridge have been completed.
