Azerbaijan, Baku, 29 August / Trend corr.E.Ismayilov /The opening ceremony for a new filling station of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) is expected to take place in the Gurjaani region in Georgia on 1 September, the SOCAR Georgia reported.
On 23 August, the opening ceremony for two filling stations in Teleti and Bolnisi regions took place. Another filling station is expected to be opened in the Georgian Black Sea port of Poti soon. The station was planed to put into operation on 6-7 August. However, the process was delayed due to the recent conflict in Georgia.
Other SOCAR's filing stations are operating in normal regime. Oil products are delivered to Tbilisi and distributed to filling stations.
At present, there are SOCAR has 13 filling stations in Georgia.
