Azerbaijan, Baku, 26 September / Trend / In January to August, 2008, payments for the energy consumed by distributing enterprises comprised 77.2% of Bakielektrikshabaka JSC, 73.4% of Sumgayitelektrikshabaka JSC, 90.1% of the regional energy supply departments, Azerenerji said on 26 September.
In August, Bakielektrikshabaka (manages the Baku electricity system) paid 84.7% for the consumed energy, Sumgayitelektrikshabaka (manages the Sumgayit electricity system) - 72.5%, regional energy supply departments (including accounts receivable for prior months) - 104.9%.
Within the eight months of 2008, Azersu paid off 18.7% and the State Committee for Refugees paid off 48.9% for the consumed energy.
