Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, 14 October / corr Trend R.Meshadihasanli / Starting from 13 October, Gazprom neft Aziya again reduced the prices for major types of oil products. This time, the company reduced wholesale prices for AI-80 and AI-92 petrol by 1 som, diesel oil by 0.70 soms. At that, consumer prices for petrol and diesel oil are reduced by 0.5 soms, Omurbek Satayev, a spokesman, told Trend .
It is the sixth cut of prices for fuel and lubricant (FL) of the company since the beginning of autumn and beginning of harvesting campaign in fields. Thus, consumer prices for essential types of oil products AI-80, AI-92 and diesel oil were lowered by 3.5 soms and wholesale prices were reduced by over 4.7-5.2 soms per litre during a month and a half in Gazprom neft Aziya filling stations.
Total reduction of consumer prices for FL during the period since 1 September to present made up 12%,
whereas in Russia, according to the data of analysts, average reduction of prices made up about 3% in September 2008, Satayev said. Prices of FL in Kyrgyzstan remain lower than on average rate in Russia, ranging from 0.5 to 4.6 soms per litre depending on the type of oil product.
The next in turn reduction of prices for oil products in Kyrgyzstan is connected with drop in the world oil prices.
