Azerbaijan, Baku, 6 November / Trend corr. S.Aliyev/ Azerbaijan intends to continue supply of electric power to Iran even after its power liability to the country is discharged, Vice-President of the Azerenerji joint-stock company (JSC) Marlen Askarov said on 5 October.
"That will be taken into account of the further power supply from Iran to Azerbaijan," Askarov said.
Azerbaijan's power liability to Iran has been reduced to 17mln KW/hour from 245mln KW/hour. Iran supplied the power to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan (NAR), which is in blockade, to be returned by Azerbaijan in summer in autumn, when Iran experiences growth of power consumption.
