Украина, Киев, 5 декабря /корр. Trend З.Новсвитский/ ОАО "Запорожтрансформатор" в декабре завершит отгрузку трансформаторов для крупнейшей национальной энергокомпании Азербайджана "Азерэнержи" на сумму 12,5 миллиона долларов, говорится в сообщении пресс-службы "Запорожтрансформатор".
Ukraine, Kiev, 5 Dec / corr. Trend Z.Novsvitski / Zaporojtransformator open joint stock company (ZTR) will complete to ship the transformers for the Azerbaijan biggest national energy company Azerenergy in the amount of $12.5mln in December, ZTR said.
Under the contract, ZTR produced a consignment of 21 transformers for AZENCO, Azerenergy's daughter company. The contract was signed in April 2008. The shipping of machines began in September.
A contract was also signed with Azerenergy in the amount of $30mln in June, according to reports. The contract envisages delivery of 28 transformers to Shirvan (former Ali-Bayramli) under Janub electric power station project. Janub project envisages the construction of a new electric power station with connection to 220 and 330kv backbone network of Azerbaijan. Another big order for Azerenergy was a contract stipulating delivery of eight transformers for metallurgical plant in Ganja in the amount of $20mln.
ZTR has signed several important contracts for equipment delivery to Azerbaijan in the amount of more than $60mln in 2008. This exceeded sales volume in the market by six times as compared to 2007 (sale of ZTR to Azerbaijan made up $10.4mln in 2008).
ZTR is one of the biggest world producers of transformer equipment with an experience of delivery to 83 countries. The enterprise produces power transformers, electric reactors and transformer monitoring systems. ZTR has been a part of Energy Standard since 2001. Energy Standard is the Ukrainian biggest energy machine-building holding.
