Oil and oil products export from Azerbaijan double in nine months

Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec.15 / Trend , corr. N.Ismayilova /In Jan-Sept 2008, $25.1bln oil and oil products have been exported from Azerbaijan, which made up 95.6% of the total export of the country; this is stated in the payment balance of the National Bank of Azerbaijan (NBA). The report says about retaining of dominate state of oil products. The oil products export increased in 1.9 times compared to the same period in 2007.

A total of $1.7bln of exported oil products fell on oil processing production and $23.4bln on crude oil. Azerbaijan International Operating Company produced crude oil with the total cost of $22.6bln. Some $13.2bln is the share of Azerbaijan (profitable oil), $9.4bln were produced by large oil companies by means of straight investments in oil and gas projects of the country. SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) and other enterprises exported crude oil of $0.8bln.

The total cost of export commodities in the non-oil sector increased by 38.1% to $1.111bln. This growth rate was reached by means of colored and black metals and enterprise chemical production.

The export increased in 1.8 times to $26.2bln in Jan-Sept.
