The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) Georgia does not plan to launch large-scale construction of a new office in the near future, company head Mahir Mammadov said.

"This is only the first stage. The construction of a reinforced concrete frame and partition is underway. It is too early to speak about all-out construction," Mammadov said.

A Georgian company won a tender to build SOCAR Georgia's new office.

The name of the company has not been released.
