The U.S. State Energy Information Agency (EIA) forecasts that Azerbaijani oil deliveries will increase to 1.1 million barrels per day in 2010.

According to EIA forecasts, oil deliveries from Azerbaijan will hit 0.95 million barrels per day in 2009, which is 0.07 million barrels more per day than in 2008.

Kazakh oil deliveries in 2009 will hit 1.51 million barrels compared to 1.43 million barrels in 2008.

Kazakhstan will increase supplies by 0.12 million barrels to 1.63 million barrels per day in 2010.

Turkmen oil deliveries will increase to 0.2 million barrels per day in 2009 compared to 0.19 million barrels in 2008. Turkmenistan will not alter its oil-supply volume in 2010.

The EIA reports said oil deliveries to non-OPEC countries will increase by 150,000 barrels per day to 49.89 million barrels per day in 2009 and by 130,000 barrels per day to 50.02 million barrels per day in 2010. Oil-supply growth will be observed over two years in the U.S., Brazil and Azerbaijan, which will offset a decline in shipments from Mexico, the North Sea and Russia.

Oil production in OPEC countries will decrease by 1.86 million barrels per day to 29.41 million barrels per day in 2009 and increase by 0.72 million barrels to 30.13 million barrels per day in 2010.

In the first quarter of this year, oil production will fall 1.6 million barrels per day to 29.1 million barrels per day. OPEC production fell by one million barrels per day in the fourth quarter of 2008.

The EIA is a statistical agency of the U.S. Department of Energy established by Congress in 1977.
