Iran will launch gas exports to Pakistan in 2014. Until that time, Iran and Pakistan will continue discussions on technical problems of the pipeline, Mehr quoted Iran's special envoy to the discussions on Peace Pipeline Hojatulla Ganimifard as saying.
In 2013, both sides will examine agreement on gas price. The prices will be further examined three times every year after gas exports are launched.
"The agreement on Peace Pipeline will be signed by Iran and Pakistan in three weeks," Iran's National Gas Export Company's Reza Kesaizade told in an exclusive interview with IRRA.
He said Iran and Pakistan have coordinated all details of contract on Peace Pipeline. Iran will export 8 billion cubic meters of gas to Pakistan per year, Kesaizade said.
"Iran will sell gas to Pakistan along the border. A pipeline with length of 250 kilometers will run from Iranshehr city until Iran-Pakistan border. Several pump stations will be built," he said.
