Kazakhstan intends to get 51 percent in Kazakhstan-Caspian Transportation System, informed source in KazMunayGaz JSC close to negotiating process held in Astana told Trend .
"Share of Kazakhstan will hit 51 percent in Kazakhstan-Caspian Transportation System. None of partners of the project disputes this issue (participants of Kashagan consortium and Chevron company)," anonymous interlocutor said.
He said that there are several questions with Chevron but they do not concern share of Kazakhstan in this project.
Kazakhstan does not intend to join Kazakhstan-Caspian Transportation System with less than half of interest, minister of energy and mineral resources Sauat Mynbayev said.
Talks on stirring up realization of Kazakhstan-Caspian Transportation System were launched with participants of consortium in KazMunayGaz Company last week.
