Turkish TPAO divulges volumes of investment in projects beyond country

The Turkish TPAO divulged that a volume of investment in 2008 as part of Azerbaijani oil and gas projects amounted to roughly $309.2 million, the company said. TPAO's total investment in the Azerbaijani economy was around $3.2 billion in the period of the company's activity in the country.

TPAO invested roughly $236 million in the project of development of the block of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) fields when financing it's a 6.8-percent share.

The company's investment in the project of the development of the Shah Deniz gas condensate field where the company possesses 9 percent of stakes made up around $72.2 million.

The Turkish company invested $115,300 in the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) oil pipeline project.
