Azerbaijan produced 1184,100 tons of bitumen oil in January-September, compared to 52,000 tons in the same period of 2008, SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) said.
In September, SOCAR produced 24,000 tons of bitumen oil.
Azerbaijan produced 220,370 tons of bitumen oil in 2008. In 2007 this figure was 182,860 tons.
In 2006 the figure for bitumen oil production was 161,940 tons.
