About 209,300 tons of oil bitumen were produced in Azerbaijan in January-October compared to 175,300 tons for the same period of 2008, SOCAR said.
Over 25,200 tons of oil bitumen were produced by SOCAR in October.
Totally, Azerbaijan produced 220,370 tons of oil bitumen in 2008. This index hit 182,860 in 2007.
Production of bitumen by SOCAR hit 161,940 tons in 2006.
