The German E.ON Ruhrgaz hopes to cooperate with the State Oil Fund of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) to modernize the Azerbaijani gas supply system, company Deputy President Uwe Fip told SOCAR head Rovnag Abdullayev during a meeting this week.
Abdullayev said there are broad opportunities for cooperation between Azerbaijani and German gas supply structures.
E.ON Ruhrgaz presented its activity and future plans at the meeting.
Abdullayev said he believes that the company will cooperate in the future and E.ON Ruhrgaz will soon present its detailed proposals on reconstructing Azerbaijani gas supply lines.
