BP Azerbaijan, as the operator of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) fields, will issue a report assessing the environmental and social impacts of the project, the company reported.
The project will be discussed Dec. 2 from 2:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m. at the Hyatt in Shusha.
Construction of a new platform within the the first phase of production expansion is scheduled for late 2010-early 2011. The project is expected to get oil in 2013.
Daily production from this platform will be 100,000 barrels. Under the project, which will run until 2024, 300 million barrels of oil are expected to be produced.
