The Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents has announced a 2009 report on operations in the sphere of standardization, metrology, and oil product compliance assessment.
The Azerbaijani Institute of Standards submitted the state standards for re-registering seven kinds of oil products, including the Katran Heavy Pyrolysis, Butylene Butadiene Fraction, Cubic Propylene Oxide Residues, Technical Propylene, Liquid Pyrolysis, Oil Hatran Type-E, Laprols, and Technical Propylene Oxide.
Earlier, the institute's standards were submitted to the committee, which presented feedback and suggestions. Amendments were late made. The standards were submitted for re-registration after agreement with the emergency situations, ecology and health ministries.
