SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan ) tranported about 256,5 million cubic meters of gas to Azerbaijani population in January 2010, SOCAR said.
About 92 million cubic meters of gas were transported to enterprises.
In 2009, about 41.2 million cubic meters of gas were transported to municipal budget enterprises.
In January 2010 the State Energy Agency of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic has received eight million cubic meters of gas from SOCAR.
Earlier, all gas operations within the country were implemented by Azerigaz. In June 2009, Production Unit was registered and included in SOCAR.
