Petrol prices: Euro-Super-95 in 27 EU countries (March 1-8)

The average price on Euro-Super 95 petrol hit 1,295 euro per 1,000 liters in 27 EU countries last week (March 1-8). Statistics on petrol prices is posted on the European Commission's website.

The highest price was observed in the Netherlands- 1,489 euro per 1,000 liters, with a $22-decrease from the previous week.

The lowest price was 987 euro per 1,000 liters in Cyprus, or 26 euro less than a week earlier.

Denmark took second place in the list of countries with the most expensive Euro-Super 95. The price hit 1,425 euro per 1,000 liters or 13 euro more than a week earlier.

The price was 1,369 euro per 1,000 liters or 97 euro more in Greece last week.

Germany took fourth place for most expensive petrol. The price hit 1,363 euro per 1,000 liters compared to 1,338 in the previous week.

Finland took fifth place for most expensive petrol. The price hit 1,362 euro per 1,000 liters compared to 1,343 in the previous week.

The price was 1, 352 euro per 1,000 liters compared to 1,333 in the previous week in Italy.

The price was 1,348 euro per 1,000 liters or 12 euro more in Portugal last week.

Belgium took eights place. The price hit 1,345 euro per 1,000 liters last week or 21 euro less than last week. 

Germany took ninth place for most expensive petrol. The price hit 1,338 euro per 1,000 liters compared to 1,334 in the previous week.

Sweden took tenth place in the list of EU countries last week. The price was 1,252 euro per 1,000 liters or 22 euro per 1,000 liters more than a week earlier.
