In the first quarter of 2010, Azerkimya state-owned company (production of chemical products), which was transferred as PU to SOCAR in early April, produced 3 million cubic meters of nitrogen which is 1.7 percent less than the figure in 2009, Azerbaijan State Statistics Committee said.
The production of polyethylene, isopropyl alcohol and paintwork materials shrank significantly increased in this period.
