Azerenergy Joint Stock Company (production and distribution of electricity in Azerbaijan) got 1,9 billion cubic meters of gas in January-June compared to about 2.43 billion cubic meters in January-June 2009 for use as fuel, SOCAR said.
In March Azerenergy got 240 million cubic meters of gas.
In 2009, Azerenergy got approximately 4.32 billion cubic meters of gas compared to 4,95 billion cubic meters in 2008. In 2007, this figure amounted to 3,4 billion cubic meters of gas.
