Oil & Gas Corporation aims to design and build a refinery in Georgia. The corporation expressed interest for advisory services June 15.

The consultant must examine the technical and economic feasibility for the implementation of the project. It must meet the financing requirements of international financial institutions.

"Today, Georgia has no oil refinery. The country is entirely dependent on imported oil products. Increasing demand on the local and regional markets, together with infrastructure development, creates the foundation for the existence of the refinery," the corporation said.
