Turkmenistan auctioned about 80,000 tons of oil products from the Turkmenbashi refinery, and refineries in the Saydi and Nayip gas-processing complex today at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.

Turkmenistan auctioned about 80,000 tons of oil products from the Turkmenbashi refinery, and refineries in the Saydi and Nayip gas-processing complex today at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.

The country put as stock trades over 45,000 tons of liquefied gas, about 3,000 tons of polypropylene and 30,000 tons of fuel oil.

Last week at the auction of the national stock exchanges recorded over 37 transactions.

Businessmen from Russia, UAE, UK, Afghanistan, purchased fuel oil, aviation kerosene, liquefied petroleum gas, diesel fuel and polypropylene. Traditionally, the main buyers are also the companies from U.S., Switzerland, Virgin Islands, Netherlands, Kazakhstan, Iran and other countries. The total amount of contracts xceeded 31 million dollars last week.

The Commodity Exchange is a principal organ of state regulation of export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
