SOCAR made contributions to the state budget worth 707.2 million manat in January-August or more than 112.47 million manat (18.9 percent) during the same period of 2009, the company said. The figure hit 104.3 million manat in August.
According to the report, SOCAR transferred 85.2 million manat to the State Social Protection Fund in January-August or more than 14.8 million manat (21,1 percent) than in January-August last year. More than 12.7 million manat were transferred to the State Fund in August.
