JSC Bakielektrikshebeke (sales and distribution of electricity in Baku) bought about 5.5 billion kilowatt-hours in January-August compared to 4.84 billion kilowatt hours in January -August of 2009 from Azerenergy (production and distribution of electricity in the regions of Azerbaijan), the company reported.
In 2009, Bakielektrikshebeke bought about 8.1 billion kilowatt hours of electricity from Azerenergy.
According to the report, the company bought 648.8 million kilowatt-hours of electricity in August compared to 652 million kilowatt-hours in July.
Bakielektrikshebeke paid on average 84.7 percent in January-August for electricity from Azerenergy. In August, the figure was 92.3 percent compared to 92.1 in previous month.
Amount of payment Bakielektrikshebeke in 2009 hit 84.44 percent.
