Turkmenistan auctions over 240,000 tons of oil products

Turkmenistan auctioned over 240,000 tons of oil products from the Turkmenbashi refinery, and refineries in the Saydi and Nayip gas-processing complex today at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.

The country put as stock trades about 70,000 tons of liquefied gas, 5,000 tons of polypropylene 70,000 tons of fuel oil, 20,000 tons of gasoline, 30,000 tons of straight-run gasoline, 40,000 tons of aviation kerosene and 10,000 tons of basic oil.

Last week at the auction of the national stock exchanges recorded over 53 transactions.

Businessmen from Russia and Afghanistan purchased liquefied gas and polypropylene. Traditionally, the main buyers are also the companies from U.S., Switzerland, Virgin Islands, Netherlands, Kazakhstan, Iran and other countries. The total amount of contracts exceeded $130  million last week.

The Commodity Exchange is a principal organ of state regulation of export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
