220-kilovolt power transmission line to be built in Poti
A 220-kilovolt transmission line and two-row 110-kilovolt transmission line will be built in Poti.
About 75 percent of the work has already been completed at the current stage, the National energy system reported. 30 pillars have been installed on the first route of the transmission line and 55 pillars - on the second. The installation of foundations has been fully completed.
The free industrial zone Poti will be fully provided with electricity through these power lines.
Today, the National energy system is ready to deliver 20 megawatts of electricity through a new transmission line and in late October, when the project ends, it will increase to 60 megawatts.
