JSC Bakielektrikshebeke reduces energy purchase in 2010

JSC Bakielektrikshebeke (sales and distribution of electricity in Baku) bought over 7.92 billion kilowatt-hours in 2010 compared to 8.1 billion kilowatt hours in 2009 from Azerenergy (production and distribution of electricity in the regions of Azerbaijan), the company reported.

In 2009, Bakielektrikshebeke bought about 8.1 billion kilowatt hours of electricity from Azerenergy.

According to the report, the company bought 694,4 million kilowatt-hours of electricity last December.

Bakielektrikshebeke paid on average 96,2 percent in 2010 for electricity from Azerenergy compared to 84.44 percent in 2009. In December, the figure was 185 percent compared to 70.3 last January.
