The branches of fast food restaurant chain McDonald's will be opened on the five filling stations operating in Georgia under SOCAR brand soon.
The parties signed a memorandum to implement this project. According to the document, the restaurants will be opened at the filling stations in Tbilisi, Batumi, Telavi and Marneuli. The first restaurant was opened in Batumi.
At present, the number of filling stations under SOCAR brand in Georgia exceeds 60 units.
SOCAR's interests in Georgia are represented by a subsidiary of SOCAR Energy Georgia.
Co-founders of SOCAR Energy Georgia are: SOCAR - 51 percent, Petro-Trans FZCO - 24,5 percent and Ivan Chkhartishvili - 24.5 percent.
