SOCAR-AQS LLC has completed the drilling of a new production well in the shallow part of the Guneshli Field in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, the company reported.
The new well was drilled from the Gunashli-11 Platform and transferred to SOCAR's May 28 Oil and Gas Management. The drilling, with a projected depth of 3,920 meters, was launched in October.
The daily production rate is 20 tons of condensate and 150,000 cubic meters of gas in the initial stage. The well is under production at present.
The company also reported that the work to develop the wells at the Gunashli-13 Platform is close to completion.
SOCAR-AQS was founded on Dec. 19, 2007. Its shareholders are SOCAR and Abseron Qazma.
The company carries out operations on oil and gas well drilling and construction using three rigs located on two fixed platforms at the Guneshli Field. Its main customer is the Azneft Production Union.
