The Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation has announced an international tender for the construction of a 30-km section of the Red Bridge - Saguramo gas pipeline.
As OGCG told Trend, companies wishing to participate in the tender must submit their proposals by March 22.
Some 18 million lari ($ 1 = 1.73 lari) have been allocated to construct the section.
The 80-kilometer long gas pipeline is being constructed to diversify gas supply sources to Georgia. A 30-kilometer plot of Gardabani-Navtlughi was built within the project in 2006, and another 10-kilometer plot in 2010.
The OGCG also announced an international tender for the construction of a 10-kilometer section of the pipeline on Feb. 25.
