SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) will invest $ 17 billion in Turkey over seven years, said sales and marketing director of Petkim, Turkey's largest petrochemical complex co-owned by SOCAR, HaberX news portal quoted IHA news agency as reporting.
"This includes a port, a new refinery, a new petrochemical enterprises and other investments", Sakit Samedov said speaking at the event in Turkey's Bursa organized by local Chamber of Commerce.
According to him, foundation of the new refinery will be laid in the coming months.
