Crude oil price on Monday pared earlier losses, but still edged down on the news that Osama bin Laden was killed by U.S. forces, Xinhua reported.
Light, sweet crude for June delivery dropped 41 cents, or 0.36 percent, to settle at 113.52 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. In London, Brent crude for June delivery also fell and last traded around 125 dollars a barrel.
