Turkmenistan will soon begin producing new types of oil products, the Turkmen Ministry of Oil, Gas Industry and Mineral Resources said.
In particular, the plants producing benzol, toluene, xylene and their derivatives will be built at the largest oil refinery in Turkmenbashi.
It was also reported that a group of Turkmen specialists has recently visited the Mozyr oil refinery in Belarus.
First and foremost, the specialists are interested in the aspects of oil processing (the most important characteristics of effective use of hydrocarbons) to get products at the level of the world quality standards.
The enterprises of the two countries are comparable with each other in terms of total capacity, modern equipment and production schemes. The special attention was paid to improving the technology of catalytic cracking.
The Belarusian combined catalytic cracking unit was presented.
