Dragon Oil expands port infrastructure

Dragon Oil (UAE) is building and expanding port infrastructure, the Neytralniy Turkmenistan newspaper reported.

The article states that the port complex is located 1 kilometer north of the Khazar city.

"Construction of a new cargo terminal on the sea shore is further evidence to attractiveness of the Turkmen market for foreign investors and inexhaustible reserves of fossil raw materials in the Cheleken peninsula and associated shelf zone of the Caspian Sea," the paper reported.

New facilities are being constructed in addition to the port warehouses, industrial buildings of repair, machine assembly, installation and welding shops, tanks of fuel and fresh water.

Different goods are loaded at the port and sent to their destinations - offshore platforms, compressor stations, and gas and oil plants.

Drilling rigs, stationary objects, and metal composite pipes of various diameters and destination, hoses, oil equipment, chemical reagents are sent to different sites from here.
