Iran launches carbonic gas producer unit at Besat power plant

'Iran launched especial smokestacks at Besat power plant aimed at production of carbonic gas,' IRNA reported quoting Managing Director of Tehran Regional Power Station Seyed Zaman Hassani as saying.

'Iran launched especial smokestacks at Besat power plant aimed at production of carbonic gas,' IRNA reported quoting Managing Director of Tehran Regional Power Station Seyed Zaman Hassani as saying.

Hassani said at inauguration ceremony of launching carbonic gas producer unit at Besat power plant that the capacity of Iran's power plants has increased six times since past 32 years (Iran Islam Revolution; 1979) while the country launched new power plants worth $7 billions.

Besat power plant's main fuel is natural gas and the additional feed is fuel-oil ( Diesel).

Besat power plant has three stream units with capacity of 82.5 mega watt electricity production at each unit,' he said.
