The National Iranian Oil Company rejected news on 200,000 ton gasoline import, insisting the country has no gasoline import, SHANA reported quoting Executive Director of international affairs in NIOC Mohsen Ghamsari as saying.
"Considering gasoline production and its surplus in Iran's commodity market for export, the import of gasoline have no meaning," he said.
Iran 's refineries produce 57-59 million liters of gasoline per day while daily gasoline consumption reaches 55 million liters.
