Azerbaijan , Baku, June 28 /Trend/

Iran oil production has reduced by 100,000 barrels per day, Mehr News Agency reported quoting the head of the Parliament Energy Commission Hamidreza Katouzian as saying.

"According to the Fourth Development Plan (2005-2010), Iran's oil production must have increased by 1 million barrel from 4 million up to 5 million barrels of oil per day," he said. "However, the production reduced by 70,000 barrels of oil last solar year (end March 20 ,2011)."

The Iranian parliament has submitted a dossier of violations about the Oil Ministry to the Judicature System for examination, ILNA reported earlier on March 15, 2011.

This report was developed by the Parliament's Energy Commission, which accuses the Oil Ministry of avoiding transferring $11 billion of surplus oil revenues to the Sovereign Wealth Fund since March 21, 2010.

The Energy Commission also reported that the oil production has decreased by 72,000 barrel per day since 2010.

The parliament decided to submit the dossier of violations to the Judicature System with 167 pros and two cons.
