SOCAR exports over 1.4 mln tons of oil via Baku-Supsa

SOCAR's Marketing and Economic Operations Department exported over 1.427 million tons of Azeri Light crude oil from the Georgian port of Supsa in January-June, SOCAR reported. Oil is supplied to the port via the Baku-Supsa oil pipeline.

SOCAR's Marketing and Economic Operations Department exported over 1.427 million tons of Azeri Light crude oil from the Georgian port of Supsa in January-June, SOCAR reported. Oil is supplied to the port via the Baku-Supsa oil pipeline.
In June, Marketing and Economic Operations Department exported over 242,500 tons of oil from the port.
In total, SOCAR exported 2.84 million tons of Azeri Light crude oil produced from "Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli" (ACG) fields via the Baku-Supsa in 2010 compared to 2.79 million tons in 2009.
SOCAR exported 407,100 tons of oil in 2008.
The company did not transport oil in this direction in 2007 due to repairs on the pipeline, which launched in November 2006.
BP is the operator of the pipeline.
