Ahmadinenejad inaugurated a combined cycle power plant with 318 MW production capacity Monday, reported Fars News Agency.
Ahmadinejad inaugurated Chabahar power plant in Sistan and Baluchistan province. More than 66 million euro has been invested in this plant.
A combined cycle power plants are those which have both gas and steam turbines feed by gas and another fuel (gas-oil, furnace, etc.) .
Chabahar combined cycle power plant is still feed by gas-oil (diesel), but by commencing the gas turbines the production capacity of this plant will reach 470 MW.
