Azerenergy generated over 10 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity in January-June compared to about 9.5 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity for corresponding period of 2010, the company said.
Over 8.4 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity fell on thermoelectric power stations and about 1.6 billion kilowatt-hours - on hydroelectric power stations of total volume of electricity generated in January-June.
Azerenergy generated about 1.3 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity in June, which is similar to figure of June 2010.
The company also continued the planned flow of electricity with Russia, Turkey, Iran and Georgia.
