The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) exported over 1.7 billion cubic meters of gas in January-June compared to 925.3 million cubic meters in January-June 2010, SOCAR said.
About 150.1 million cubic meters of gas was supplied within the export contracts in June compared to 131.5 million cubic meters of gas in June 2010.
SOCAR exports gas to Russia and Georgia within export operations.
About 156.4 million cubic meters of gas were supplied during the six months within the swap-contract with Iran to provide the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic with gas compared to 45.6 million cubic meters in January-June year.
In June, the figure was 14.7 million cubic meters compared to 7.1 million cubic meters in June last year.
