Turkmenistan auctions over 270,000 tons of oil products

Turkmenistan auctioned over 270,000 tons of oil products from the Turkmenbashi refinery, and refineries in the Saydi and Nayip gas-processing complex at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange on Wednesday.

The country put as stock trades 65,000 tons of liquefied gas, 40,000 tons of straight-run gasoline, over 70,000 tons of gasoline and over 95,000 tons of diesel fuel.

Last week at the auction of the national stock exchanges recorded 40 transactions.
Companies from UAE, Afghanistan, Great Britain, U.S, the Virgin Islands purchased different brands of gasoline, fuel oil, diesel fuel, straight-run gasoline, polypropylene.

The representatives from Azerbaijan, China, Russia, Switzerland and Liechtenstein are the traditional participants of the auction. Total amount of contracts, including on sale of oil products exceeds $90 million.

The Commodity Exchange is a principal organ of state regulation of export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
