The Azerbaijani thermoelectric power station generated more than 2.9 billion kilowatt hours of electricity in the first half of the year, or 0.4 percent more than the planned figure, "Azerenergy" said.
According to the report, the energy blocks of the station are under reconstruction. In particular, the reconstruction of the seventh energy block has been completed. It has been already connected to the network. Similar operations are held in the sixth energy block.
At present, the construction of six heavy oil reservoirs is under construction.
