Turkmenistan completes pipeline reconstruction

The chief section of the Yashyldepe-Pelvert oil pipeline's reconstruction, stretching over 80 kilometers, has been completed, the Turkmen Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ministry said.


"It will greatly increase capacity of the pipeline after its full completion," a statement said.

The natural gas processing complex was commissioned in the deposit Yashyldepe in 2008. It allows receiving the finished products - liquefied gas, gas condensate and marketable gas.


The annual capacity of the complex is 50,000 tons of liquefied gas, 200,000 tons of gas condensate and 1 billion cubic meters of marketable gas.


The work was carried out by companies Saspro rireline servise AG and Thermo Design Enjineering, as well as the branches of local trusts Turkmenvostokneftestroy and Lebapneftegazstroy.
