Iranian electricity export to neighboring countries within first four months of the current solar year ncreased by 20 percent comparing same time last year, IRIB reported.
Iran exported more than 2.546 Giga watt hour electricity to neighboring countries during past four months.
By implementation of removal of subsides the rate of power consumption in the country reduced and created good opportunity for export.
Iran currently export electricity with Armenia, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Nakhjavan , Turkey, Iraq and Afghanistan.
